How It Works
Hybrid and Virtual Learning
At Marian University Preparatory School, we strive to individualize education in an accessible, faith-focused environment while transforming the delivery of traditional K–12 education. Marian University Preparatory School gives families the option to learn strictly online or participate in a hybrid schedule that lets students take online courses from home and attend in-person classes a portion of the time.
Marian University Preparatory School vs. Marian University Preparatory School Plus (Hybrid)
We pride ourselves on our commitment to student success and flexible learning. Indiana-licensed teachers deliver rigorous instruction and support your child as they work through curriculum at their own pace. The design, development, and delivery of the Stride K12 mastery-based curriculum is grounded in our faith and principles that promote critical-thinking and problem-solving.
Families must select one of two learning formats, Marian University Preparatory School or Marian University Preparatory School Plus, prior to the start of the school year.
Marian University Preparatory School
Students learn virtually from home, or wherever there’s an internet connection, along with their Learning Coach. No in-person instruction is provided as part of the Marian University Preparatory School virtual format.
Marian University Preparatory School Plus (Hybrid)
Students follow a hybrid format and attend both virtual and in-person sessions. Students attend classes virtually on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesday and Thursday, students learn in-person at one of Marian University Preparatory School’s community sites, as facilitated and supervised by Marian University Preparatory School’s adjunct faculty.
No matter the format, Marian University Preparatory School’s curriculum and community is aligned as one school. Students will need to select their option before the start of each school year. For a sample schedule, please contact the enrollment team.
