You’ll play an active and important role as your child’s Learning Coach. Plan to:

  • Provide academic support, motivation, and guidance throughout the school year
  • Ensure your child is on track with assignments and coursework
  • Communicate with teachers 
  • Report daily attendance 

If you or your child’s legal guardian are unable to fill this role, you can choose a family member, friend, or another trusted adult to be the Learning Coach.

MU Prep is available for students in grades K–12 in all 50 states.

What are the costs?

Marian University Preparatory School is a private school. We provide licensed teachers and instructional materials. Students and families will be responsible for providing some school supplies, such as printer ink and paper. Because our students learn online, an internet connection is required. Our enrollment consultants can help address your technology and computer questions and needs.

What is the attendance policy?

All students enrolled for the entire school year must attend 180 instructional days per school year. The total instructional days are prorated based on the student’s start date. The daily amount of expected instructional time is 6 hours.

What career and college preparation opportunities will be available?

At MU Prep, students can begin preparing for college as early as middle school. Our IT and College & Career Readiness teacher works with students to discover their passions and related career opportunities. Professional career coaches advise students on college applications, financial aid, résumés, networking, interviewing, internships, and more. Students will participate in project- and work-based learning opportunities to gain hands-on experience that will benefit them for years.
