What grades are offered by Marian University Preparatory School?
Marian University Preparatory School is a K–12 hybrid lab school currently enrolling full-time students in grades 6–9 for the 2022–2023 academic school year. While not currently enrolling students in grades K–5 and 10–12, Marian University Preparatory School will serve students in grades K–5 and 10–12 who reside in the state of Indiana in the future.
Who is eligible to apply?
Students must reside in the state of Indiana. To enroll for the 2022–2023 academic school year, students must be entering grades 6–9.
What does it cost to attend MU Prep?
Marian University Preparatory School is a private school. We provide Indiana-licensed teachers and instructional materials. Students and families will be responsible for providing some consumable materials (such as printer ink and paper). Our enrollment consultants can help address your technological and computer questions and needs.

Is there tuition assistance or financial aid available?
Indiana is committed to providing all children access to quality educational opportunities. Indiana's Choice Scholarship Program provides scholarships to eligible Indiana students to offset tuition costs at participating schools. Students must satisfy both household income requirements and student eligibility criteria to qualify.
Staff at Marian University Preparatory School work with parents to submit the Choice Scholarship application to the Indiana Department of Education. Connect with an enrollment consultant for guidance.

What’s the difference between Marian University Preparatory School and Marian University Preparatory School Plus?
At Marian University Preparatory School, families must select one of two learning formats, Marian University Preparatory School or Marian University Preparatory School Plus, prior to the start of the school year. Marian University Preparatory School students learn virtually from home, or wherever there’s an internet connection, along with their Learning Coach. No in-person instruction is provided as part of the Marian University Preparatory School virtual format.
Marian University Preparatory School Plus students follow a hybrid format and attend both virtual and in-person sessions. Students attend classes virtually on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesday and Thursday, students learn in-person at one of Marian University Preparatory School’s community sites, as facilitated and supervised by Marian University Preparatory School’s adjunct faculty.
No matter the format, Marian University Preparatory School’s curriculum and community are aligned as one school. Students will need to select their option before the start of each school year. For a sample schedule, please contact the enrollment team at 855.777.0679.
Do you provide curriculum for students with special needs?
Marian University Preparatory School does provide specific special education services. To determine if available services align with your student’s needs, please contact our office at 855.777.0679 to speak with a special education placement counselor.
What is the attendance policy?
All students enrolled for the entire school year must attend 180 instructional days per school year. The total instructional days are prorated based on the student’s start date.
Do I need to have access to a computer to attend Marian University Preparatory School?
Yes. However, based on financial need and eligibility, Marian University Preparatory School may loan a computer to each enrolled student to support the learning process upon request. These computers are Marian University Preparatory School instructional property and must be returned when the student leaves the school. Marian University Preparatory School will arrange for technical support and troubleshooting for these systems. Each family will need to secure their own internet service provider.
