Do I need to have access to a computer to attend Marian University Preparatory School?
Yes. To ensure you have the equipment you need for school, we provide each student with a loaner laptop. These laptops are Marian University Preparatory School instructional property and must be returned when the student leaves the school. Marian University Preparatory School highly recommends that families accept our loaner computer, as we are then able to assist with technical and software issues.
What computer skills are required?
The Learning Coach needs to have at least basic computer skills. Use of the computer is an important part of the online school program. In the elementary grades, it is mostly the Learning Coach who interacts with the computer. Middle school and high school students are most successful if they have basic computer skills.
